About Maxim
Maxim launched LearnEnglish.Life in 2024 after seven years of operating and reviewing inside the online language-learning industry. He started the site because every "best English tutor" article he could find online was either a thinly-veiled affiliate funnel or a press-release rewrite.
The mission of LearnEnglish.Life is the opposite: open real student accounts on every platform we cover, pay with a real card, sit through the lessons, and document what actually happens, including the parts the platforms would prefer readers did not see. Maxim has tested more than 50 English learning platforms personally and reads every review on the site before it goes live.
